How do I calculate the power supply size for LED pixels?

Each WS2812B pixel draws up to 60mA at full white (20mA per R, G, B channel). Multiply the pixel count by 0.06A to get the maximum current draw. Add a 20% safety margin. Example: 300 pixels × 0.06A = 18A × 1.2 = 21.6A — use a 5V 30A supply. In practice, most animations use 30-50% of maximum brightness, but always size the supply for worst-case.

What brand of power supply should I use?
